Would not give one star or would i waste any more time looking at this place. They give out your information to whoever and also talk about you to people as well. They also kick us out day earlier because when you pay for a week Wednesday to Wednesday nope they had police there on thesday. The best part was we had no water most the time there and also ac went out they give us a fan but then took it back when wasnt there . Also they will let you know when to get up or when to go to bed they will also not tell you there is only one so called cabin (old block bait room) has no bathroom so you have to go to bar across parking lot which cabin sits in parking lot. So it's non stop people around you so there isnt any privacy at all. Shower and bathroom area are nasty . Have to stay in shoes to wash.ive stayed alot of places but this one is without shadow of doubt the worst ever in 44 years. Please dont think im just one mad guest all the people who live there year around will tell you the same thing but they are stuck in 2 year lease so have to but they all want to leave and hatw it there which its only about
Taylor’s Landing is a great little community! Everyone was super nice, and even though we were just staying the weekend, everyone made us feel at home as soon as we pulled in! This place has great Charleston charm while still being out in the middle of nowhere! You definitely live amongst the wildlife, but everyone seems to understand their place. I cannot recommend bug spray, citronella candles, etc enough! The campground is in a bit of a marsh, so lots of bugs! The trade off is a fantastic sunrise/sunset. If I could recommend anything to the campground, maybe updating power/water at the sites, but that’s certainly not something that would keep me from coming back! Overall, Taylor’s Landing is made from a lot of love, and you can tell! If you’re looking for rural camping/fishing, this is the place!
Beautiful view, amazing for kayakers and fishermen! Rich historical area, nature trails, restaurant on premises. Nice quiet getaway nestled amidst a wildlife management area,. They offer 50 and 30 amp sites as well as tent and hammock camping!
Boat Ramp Review. Single lane, dirt ramp. Not paved. $5 fee, cash box. Medium size dock to tie up. Only 5 or 6 parking spots. Don't park by the ramp, pull straight up by the white abandoned looking dodge durango.
One of the best weekends I have had camping in a long time. Great owners! Kayaking, Tent camping, Hiking & Fishing!! The fried green beans are addictive...you’ve been warned lol Definitely will be returning!!
