Great campground and really nice people. My niece and I stayed there for a few days exploring the area. The facilities are clean and the campsites are big. Small dog park area to let the dog run a bit. Had a problem with my awning while we were out exploring and the managers were thoughtful enough to call us and try to help. It's like a family there! The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of a 5 is the lack of wifi throughout the campground. It is only available at the rec room area. I did not have cell phone service at their location and completely relied on wifi for calling, so it would have been nice to have wifi throughout the campground. Would definitely stay there again.
We have been long term RV staying for the past 2 years at Long Creek Park and this place has made some of our BEST memories in North Carolina. Ashley is not just a park manager but a friend after this long stay! She will always go above and beyond small or big to make things to be better! We will miss her, the community in the campground and the events. This place is more than a beautiful place to visit.. it’s a place to call home away from home!! Provided some pictures of snow days at the campground, spaghetti nights with friends at campgrounds, most definitely pet friendly, and game nights with the community! 10/10 Texas bound now!
This is such a peaceful, quiet spot. The campground is really well maintained and the manager, Ashley, is so friendly and awesome! We stayed in the creekside cottage and it was so luxurious inside. My favorite part of it is the back deck. Such a beautiful and relaxing way to spend a quiet weekend.
Ashley was great to work with here while we came in town to relax and go to a wedding. The place was neat, groomed, kept up and clean! She walked us through our cottage and explained everything and was very attentive! Neat family place! We will and would come back for sure!
Great place with wonderful people. We stayed Fall 2024-Spring 2025. We found it very reasonably priced with utilities included. There was a small arcade, a pool table and a pretty good sized playground. There were several "official" community events including a fish fry, a crab boil and several painting classes. Someone friendly to chat with could always be found on the front porch of the community center! Thank you Miss Ashley for making our time in North Carolina so enjoyable.
