Rest Area - Manhattan, Westbound

There's not much truck parking and the restrooms are so dirty. They're actually a bile hazard.

Here when you need it, old building but still useable. Grass was a little overgrown and bathrooms seemed to have gone a while without cleaning. Lots of shaded picnic tables. The dump station was operable and the comment below that brought up an issue was resolved.

So much for honoring the military. Shame on Kansas for letting their rest areas, especially those "dedicated" to military personnel, be in such bad shape. Flag pole with nothing on it. Horrible landscaping. Oh, you wanted soap to wash your hands?

Nice rest stop! With at least six picnic stations with charcoal grills available and ♿️ accessible. Bathrooms are also ♿️ Accessible. Clean. Recommend.

This stop is a bit dated and landscaping less maintained. There is a memorial located here at the flag pole. The restrooms were well used and old, but generally clean. The building is wheelchair accessible. For picnicking, there are plenty of shade spots in the summer under the trees with few picnic tables. The rest stop is directional, so it is separate from east bound traffic.
