Kokanee Springs R.V. Park

This campground used to be the best in Alberta. However the previous owner sold it and although the new owners are very nice, they started passing campground information through a private gossip Facebook group called “Friends of Kokanee Springs”. This group is policed by a group of woman who try to control everything that is said about the campground. If you say something nice, it stays. If not, your post is deleted. This group I guarantee you will be the downfall of the campground because of the gossip it fuels. There is so much whining, backstabbing, and lying that it is sickening. The campground is still great but campers are rapidly beginning to leave. Not because of how the owners run the campground, but because of this Facebook group that is being run by a bunch of hypocrites and complainers.

I went to the driving range today with my kids who are 15, 13 and 10. We were told that drivers were not allowed because some people were purposely trying to hit campers. I explained that my 10 year old can only hit the ball about 150 yds and only has three clubs in his bag. They refused to make an exception for him. There is no way he was going to hit the ball 320+ yards and if he could he would probably be on the PGA tour. I’m disappointed that I spent $200 there between the driving range and restaurant. What is a driving range if a child can’t use their driver? Will definitely not be back.

I come here weekly, as it saves me cooking when I come home from the city. They change the menu every year, for the better, and the food is always fantastic! It's great, and there's lots of It! You can enjoy it inside, or out on the deck
