Very friendly and caring managers. Pet friendly environment. Clean Laundry/bathrooms.
RV park is very conveniently located just off the highway in Draper. The sites are close to each other but very manageable. The bathroom, store, and laundry area were quite adequate. These public spaces seemed to be well kept and always clean. My main disappointment was the many off-leash dogs. I learned to check carefully before getting out of our fifth wheel to walk our dog. No matter what time of day or late night it was, there was always an off leash dog out. I repeatedly cleaned up dog droppings in the grass area by our trailer that were not from my dog. In addition, on multiple evenings as I was getting out of my truck an off-leash dog would come right up to me at my vehicle door. I never saw or heard an owner nearby on any of these occasions. Unknown, large dogs approaching me in the dark is not preferable. There is a dog park area, but it is not fenced. The RV park taking an active role in ensuring all tenants feel safe by encouraging the use of a dog leash and fencing the dog area would add a significant improvement. Hoping for both improvements and to be back again!
Really big, crowded place next to an Interstate. Lots of permanent residents with lots of cars in the "streets" making it difficult to manuever with a trailer. The single-location restrooms are near the entrance making them a hike for anybody past the first five spots if you didn't want to use yours. I was transient and stayed only one night. And expensive! Truck and 20' trailer was $87.24 for one night.
The could be improved; Talk about packed in like sardines. The power and electric are not designed for customer convenience, one side has the electric and water for 2 sites so one trailer has to pull the power and water around or under their trailer. There was a rig parked in the street with its slide outs out in the street limiting our swing to get into our space and it took some extra finagling to get our trailer in, almost took out the power box for ours and our neighbors. The good; All the spaces are pull through so they are pretty easy to into and out of if you have a full field of swing available. They gave us a Veterans discount.
As for the people in the office, they are nice (that's what the stars are for)!! The long term people have taken over the park, rude, no rules and will make your stay horrible. Having a sign posted that yours dogs are to be on a leash but finding out residents just do what they want is not a good surprise. Not picking up poop and no one's dog is trained to stay or not run toward you. Actually had one of their "guests" let their dog come at me and my dog, couldn't even call the dog and the magical GPS collar wasn't working. I had to pick up my pup who is a shy guy and the guy cussed me in front kids and told his dogs "to go get me". No solution or stop of the off lead BS was resolved!! Your campers are close and people are straight up in your business or staring in your window, we had to move our camper in the first 9 days because of 2 pesky neighbors!! $1100 a month until April and then $$1700 a month until October (over $400 a week) Saw the ad on my Facebook and had to correct some Good Sam info on nightly reviews. 3 of us left because of how bad it is, especially coming home after a 12 hour work day!! HIGH END amenities my arse, the laundry room smells like cigarettes and weed after the office closes, clothes left in all the washers ( 5 washers for the whole park). Save your money, go a little further north or south for your stay!!
