We had a wonderful stay at Finger Lakes RV Resort! It was our first time in this area and it did not disappoint! The clubhouse (with a fitness center) is brand new and we spent a couple of hours in there on a rainy night playing checkers and pool. I used the fitness center every morning. I know not everyone likes to workout on vacation, but it was perfect! We didn't use the bathhouse, since we have our own in the RV, but we went inside and wow - very impressive! The campsite itself was very spacious - we did not feel like we were on top of the people next to us. We loved that we could walk to Red Newt and Hector Wineries - there were trails to both. There is also a trail to Toni's Diner, which we walked to twice for breakfast! We spent a day in Watkins Glen hiking, which is only about a 15 minute ride from the site. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would highly recommend it to anyone with an RV or wanting to camp!
This campground is beautifully done! In the heart of Seneca wine country, the sites are very large and lots of space! The bathrooms were the nicest campground bathrooms I’ve ever experienced. The staff was wonderful and friendly, they offer garbage pickup and propane tank pick up right at your site. Red Newt Wine Cellar and Hector Winery are both within easy walking distance. There are another 20 or so wineries, breweries and distilleries within a 10 minute drive either direction. Such a wonderful way to spend the weekend!
We love this campground. We try to get to the Finger Lakes every fall, and this year we were a little earlier than usual, but still enjoyed the stay. Unfortunately we got some rain, but it was the perfect time to catch up on some laundry, in their all facility which is clean and state of the art. We also loved the new addition of the clubhouse with pool table and workout room. The bathhouse is also immaculate. The campground is also walking distance between 2 wineries via a trail to the properties. It's a nice and relaxing place to stay.
Just got home from 3 night stay. Very new RV park and I was very impressed with the design and layout. Sites spacious and spread out. Maintaining the park is obviously given a high priority judging by the immaculate bathroom and laundry facilities. They have partnered with 2 wineries within walking distance and a brewery that is a very short drive - all of which offer some sort of discount or special for guests. A few of the reviewers complained about the many rules and policies but they are communicated during the reservation process and appear to be consistently enforced. As a result, the park is quiet and orderly. I only hope I can get back when the young trees are mature. Kudos to the owners!
Finger Lakes RV is a beautiful resort with a lot of distance between campsites. We had a wonderful time staying there for a week. The owners are visible and genuinely care about the guests having a good time. The entire resort was clean and there were plenty of dog waste stations. The dog park was centrally located and clean. The pavilion was perfect for a group and the brand new clubhouse is a great amenity. The surrounding area is gorgeous with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby - and of course there are many wineries!
