Montana State Department Of Transportation Rest Area: Plentywood (Sheridan County Fairgrounds)

On toilet not working for over a year. T paper dispensers broken. T paper hangs on back of door or floor or back of toilet. Remember to bring your own. What has happened. It used to be so nice. We use it often on our way to Sidney. It needs help.

Came home for a funeral. The site we had was unkempt; pens on the ground, socks, numerous screws & nails, loose pieces of wood. Stayed 3 nights. No water but showered at mom's the day of the funeral. Out of 8 sites, there were 6 filled. Not much noise so thankful for that. The dogs did hear fireworks occasionally but no big deal. My dad, who is deceased, would be appalled at this site. He was one of many Lions members who did things for the community. We were also in Plentywood over Mother's Day this year. We used this campsite for the first time, staying 4 nights. We appreciated the amount suggested. The site we had was different than the one stated earlier; 3 sites used. Thus no complaints and the rating would have been a 4.

Clean and Heated Washroom. Good for taking a break. Not sure if Semi trucks are allowed to stay overnight.

Stayed overnight here for our early morning delivery. The bathrooms were clean and heated. They offer water for RV's and offers a quiet overnight stay.

This rest stop is a great place to get out and stretch your legs in Sheridan County. It has information on local history and shares a parking lot with the local historical museum. This rest stop also includes a RV dump and an adjoining campground.
