Ilfracombe Public Caravan/RV Dump Point

Can't comment on the cabins as we didn't stay in one but if they were as clean and well maintained as the park and amenities then they would be 5 star cabins as well! The owners Christo and Ansie are so friendly, welcoming and I was impressed with Christo's assistance guiding vans into spots (he calls it his 'marriage counselling' service 😂). So many positives to staying here and going into Longreach for activities. The park itself, the delicious home cooked meals at very reasonable prices (with a little touch of their South African heritage in some). Wellshot Hotel next door with its quirky decor and unusual way to donate to local charities (ask the friendly bar staff) and artesian spa a short walk down the road. We stayed 5 nights and would have stayed longer if no time constraints

Hosts are very friendly and helpful. Christo is only too happy to help you park your van on its clean and tidy site. Great happy hour and we enjoyed one of their well priced meals.

What a great little caravan park. The host's are so friendly and super helpful. Great facilities. Good sized sites. They have something on in the camp kitchen/ meeting area most every night. Good fun.

Stopped for 1 night to break our drive to Winton. So happy we did, very well equipped site, clean and the camp kitchen/social area is lovely. Artisan bath at the swimming pool for 5 bucks, a great way to chill in the latest afternoon & a pub on the stroll home. Lovely way to spend a day.

Just stayed here for the first time. We had a caravan on a powered site. This would have to be one of the best run, managed, maintained parks we’ve stayed at. It is a credit to the owners who work tirelessly to make sure the park is in good order and that guests feel welcome. If we are in the area again, we will stay here. 5 out of 5.
