Western Sands RV Park

We stayed our first winter in Yuma, Arizona 2025. We only had 5 days to make a reservation because our previous plans fell through. We looked at several RV resorts and chose Western Sands. We are so Happy we did. We made great friends, the park has an awesome pool and hot tub. Several activities also. We made reservations for this next winter before we left. You will not find a warmer, more sunny or low humidity place to stay the winter.

Unless you want to feel like a stranger and unwelcome, I would avoid this park. It is really a trailer park with a few RV sites. The people here are mainly Canadian and very rude. We informed them that we had dogs, and they put down that we had 2. Then they got upset because we made some complaints about people driving through our site. If this is what Yuma is about, we will never be back. To say it is a "Resort" is a joke. The activity calendar has items on it and when you show up you are told that they have not been doing that activity for months. I informed them that throwing florescent bulbs in the trash was not legal, who knows how long this has been going on. They have a total lack of respect for this great country.

Stopped in Yuma and couldn't say enough. Jane, the manager was amazing!!! The grounds were clean, and the amenities with pool, shuffleboard and horseshoes all for a great low rate, definitely recommend.

Love this place! The management is super nice and very helpful. We met some lovely people here and made long lasting friendships. The pool is wonderful they also have a wonderful hot tub. They have all kinds of activities. Huge spaces with concrete patio. We'll definitely be back❤️

Nice hot pool with jets. The pool has an easy access ramp. Sites are wide. Dogs are allowed, but they don't want them to pee anywhere except the dog area and outside the park. Some noise from the road and the Interstate. I was quite during the night. Would probably stay again for a night. Easy drive from here to San Diego.
