Very nice wheelchair accessible cabin (C3) that has two bunks one full size on the bottom of twin the other twins top and bottom. A wheelchair can not fit between the two beds so you have to be able to transfer at the end and scoot down. The mattresses are pretty decent comparedto camping matts, just make sure they are right side up ours was upside down, we will probably bring a mattress topper next time though. There is a small counter with a microwave (if it locks just hold the stop cancel button in until it unlocks the keypad). There is a small refrigerator we fit 24 bottles of pop, condiments, hot dogs, hamburgers, lunch meats and cheese and snacks and there is a freezer on top too. The bathroom is near the Accessible cabin but you have to cross grass. The accessible stalls are a bit small with an awkward entrance because the outside door is directly in front of the stall door so you are still coming in one door while you open the next one. Bathroom sinks are not accessible but there is another sink directly outside on the bathroom on the wall that next to the laundry style sink and it is accessible. We didn't see if there were showers we only stayed 2 nights. The picnic table was accessible and the fire pit grill combo is on flat ground. We enjoyed our stay but it does get hot in the cabin so bring fans. There are plenty of outlets and a small shelf between the beds to set your phone or a cpap machine on. Be aware the water level in almond lake can vary dramatically so water activities might not be possible sometimes.
Unfortunately currently there is no way to launch a boat, fish or swim here. The water level is so low in spurs could almost walk across to the other side.
Great little park in the southern tier! Friendly staff, excellent facilities. Would recommend!
10/10, lots of fun shell fossils in the little stream leading to the park. Excellent park for a short road trip break, bathrooms had toilet paper and hand sanitizer in March.
Very friendly and accommodating staff. Well kept clean and pretty campground. Great price. A lot of geese though. Vault toilets but I grew up camping with those so no big deal.
