Decent amount of space but facilities in disrepair, toilets stopped working and the walks are in shambles. Nice bush spot.
A good place to stop for a break if travelling in the north of TAS. It has tables & chairs and toilets (sometimes hard to find a well setup stop in TAS). It also has a short walk to and along the river. If on the Murchison hwy give it a look if you need a break.
Lovely spot to stop if you're heading through to Cradle Mountain or Waratah. Windy road in and out. Covered picnic table and toilets there. Lovely little walk down to the river from the car park and a great longer walk on the other side of the road that follows the river. Fantastic place to photograph fungi in Autumn and it's also dog friendly.
OMG we stopped here for a water transfer moment (water in, water out of the body) and to eat some lunch. Turned out to be way cooler than we would have guessed! Short hike down to the river and we discovered the most fascinating mushrooms! So many cool mushrooms in one place! It was cool and crazy! Check it out!
Great little path, wanders down to river from carpark, however path could do with some gravel in areas and made a bit wider and more defined, especially coming up from under bridge exit. Rest area needs a little TLC also.
