Venture River RV Park

If I could give this park 10 stars, I would My daughter joined me there last week for a few days. Our first time there. I cannot say enough about the park.....it was quiet, beautiful, well kept. Tons of things to do around the area. Rick the owner was amazing, so helpful and always stopped by to see if we needed anything. Was honored to meet his wife Kelli and there children and grandkids too. Great Halloween party they throwed for the kids and the adults. Rick gave hayrack rides for all and trick or treating. Also a shout out to his employees there. Hunter was very helpful when I needed something. I cant wait to get back and spend a week or so. My granddaughter wants to go to the water park. Looking forward to that too. Thanks again to all....Talk about a dream team We found it !!!

We're first time RV owners, and this place was the first RV park we went too. First and foremost, Rick was absolutely amazing and so friendly! The park was very well maintained. Had a cute little pond, where you're able to rent kayaks and paddle boats. Bathrooms were clean, as we're the showers. I loved how they also separated them too! It was quiet. So quiet, despite being next to a water park, which we of course visited! Campground was clean, with well placed trash cans, and two different parks for the kids to play in. The camp store had so much stuff in it! Location wise, you're pretty much in walking, driving or biking distance. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about this RV park. From the owner, to cleanliness, the amenities and price... It set a very high expectation for us for when visit other RV parks. Thank you, Rick, for giving us such a wonderful stay. We will be back! Delightful hidden gem far enough off the highway to provide peace and quiet and a good night's sleep. Spacious gravel sites were level with grassy space between each one and nice picnic table and fire pit too. Full hookups available plus convenient dump station. Nice playground and pet walking areas and clean bath house. Minutes from boating and fishing areas and walking distance to water park! We were passing thru for one night and Rick was very accommodating. Would recommend this short or long stays. We will certainly be returning.

We really liked this rv park. The sites were spacious, pretty level, with gravel. Picnic table and fire pit included. The lake was so pretty, and had paddle boats and kayaks you could take out. The trees and grass are so nice. I loved the Weeping Willow trees close to our site. Really nice to hide from the sun. They also have a great playground for the kiddos, and two basketball courts with plenty of seating. They have a cute little store on site. The restrooms and bathhouse were clean and modern. No laundry though. :( Venture River Water Park was directly across the lake, which is very convenient to this rv park. There is shopping and restaurants vlose by. Walmart is about 10 miles. Local grocery is within walking distance. As is McDs. The owners were really nice, and communication was great. They have brochures and menus as well...

Great little campground. Small playground for kids, not too far from the interstate but far enough where road noise isn’t a problem. Small water park next door if you stay more than one night. Very friendly staff. Would definitely stop here again if we find ourselves in the area. Spots were plenty wide and pretty easy to back into. We have a 36ft 5th wheel and had plenty of room.
