This was a very nice camp site. Very family friendly. Clean bathrooms/showers. Beautiful campsite by the river. Just a wonderful evening to camp.
This campground was fantastic. The sites are close together and at first we were not looking forward to that. Big surprise we loved the closeness....campers, staff, long term renters were top notch. Not one concern. The rules are solid and definitely for the safety of all campers. This camp ground was well maintained, bathrooms were cleaned daily, and the rec room was a pleasant surprise. The staff planned a fun Halloween celebration this weekend. Campers handed out candy for trick or treating, site decorations every where and a spooky hayride. We had a blast!!! All though to cold to swim, we look forward to next summer and the pool. 10 out 10 will stay again!
I spent two lovely nights there on a riverside tent site. I was super impressed with how well run and exceptionally clean the bathouse was - no matter what time of day I visited. While I was there to read and relax, they offer plenty of amenities like a pool and game room. An easy 15 minute drive to Abingdon. I’ll definitely return and highly recommend!
We called for an overnight stay the day we were arriving the girl who answered was very pleasant, we have been to many campgrounds over the US and this is one of the friendliest, nicest places we have been. The showers were perfect! The pool the site being riverside and surrounded by trees was amazing. If we come back this way we will surely stay again. Thank you to owner Ronnie for chit chatting with us!
Very nice campground. The bathrooms and showers were really well maintained and clean. Easy walking distance from our camp site to the bathrooms, gameroom and pool area. Everyone was super nice and helpful. I felt at ease letting my son play without being worried he would get snatched. Usually I keep an eagle eye on him but I felt like everyone there watched out for each other's kids. It was very kid friendly. The camp site we had was right next to the river so we could walk down and fish easily whenever we wanted and hear the nice water rustling at night while we went to sleep. We will definitely be making a return trip soon.
