Parc Provincial Notre Dame

Beautiful, well-maintained park that’s a perfect stop between St.John’s and the ferry terminal at Port Aux Basques. Lakeside spots are smallish but on the water. Other sites are large and private. We were in pull-through site 43, with 50-amp electric. Enough room to leave the car hitched, and secluded outside area for relaxing and dining. Nice beach and daily garbage collection at site. Friendly, helpful staff. Two downsides: 1) some noise from TCH, especially near the lake 2) no walking/hiking trails nearby

Nice private sites, clean facilities, great pond to swim and big enough for a leisure kayak. Close on half powered sites and half not. None have water or sewer but several water filling stations through the park and a main dumping station.

Such a beautiful park. Loved that I could get on my paddle board right from our site. I spent all evening and the next morning exploring the pond on my board.

Amazing park right off TCH 1. The 2 gentleman who I spoke with at the gate were pleasant and helpful. I will definitely be staying again on my way home. The view from my campsite was a pleasure watch. The loons were a added touch

Excellent park for camping. The camp Grounds and ambiance is amazing. We sneaked into the park just to check out the views, we were there for 30minutes, the staff allowed us to take a round. There were several RVs parked and many tents and camps setup. The ponds and lakes inside the park were amazing for swimming.
