My husband and I were traveling, and got too tired to drive, we found this amazing place, we were too late to check in with then office, so we set up camp and a fire, and passedoutta, the next day my husband got his truck stuck, trying to pull another camper out of a muddy situation, so the park manager, was gracious enough to pull them both out! The ladies room was SO CLEAN. ,IT SMELLED SO GOOD! The water pressure was amazing, it was HOT water, the facilities were hands down the cleanest I've ever seen at a park or camp site. I would HIGHLY recommend everyone stay here if traveling and looking for a place to stay! There are hook ups for rv, grassy spots for tents, and the fish were JUMPING!
Loved it wow best view in a while. I was almost alone for 2 nites amazing also screwed up self registration glad I was alone
One of our favorites for only $15 per night. Only have WiFi at the boat ramp though. Love the fall. Only 3 people were there.
Could be nice, if anyone at Malhur County cared. The sites are comfortable and well spaced. Unfortunately, the campground and facilities clearly receive little to no regular maintenance. Fire pits full of garbage, picnic tables warped and splintered, the “grass” is infested with goat head and Russian Thistle weeds (keep your dog off). The restrooms were absolutely filthy and disgusting. Oh, also, the water is poisoned. Pretty sad as the potential to be a lovely place was there.
Wonderful place with beautiful views. We camped there for three days. Large sites well spaced apart and only $15 a night. There is electrical hook=ups, but no water so bring your own. We would have given 5 stars except the water pump was inoperative and the restrooms are old and could use some attention. The reservoir offers a nice place for water sports and fishing. Mishelle, a camp host, was so helpful with helping us choose a site and Site 8 was perfect. We will be back.
