Wellington Riverside Park

Great place to stay. Close to the city and at a beautiful river. Very clean amendities and nice green grass at the river site. Donna and Greg are the best hosts you can imagine. They even invited us to join them on 1st Christmas day 😘. Book and stay at there place! Karin and Rien.

Small caravan park at the entrance to town, located on the shores of the Macquarie River. Good camp kitchen, sites are large and easily accessible. Friendly & helpful staff. Only thing missing is a pool, but for a small town this is not unusual. We have stayed twice & will again when passing through.

Great little park, camp kitchen has everything you’ll need. Huge off lead fenced area for dogs. Clean showers/toilets. Train line is right next to the unpowered sites so you get to see the trains going through and over the bridge. Lots of wildlife and the park manager was accomodating of our later arrival.

Had a lovely view. Cosey cabin. Every thing worked. 55LT hot water tank was enough for 2 people. The on site staff were just lovely to deal with. Grate place to sit on the lovely little deck a watch the bird's & the resident goats.

Loved this spot. Really lovely park. Dogs loved the grassy huge off leash dog park. Bit of train noise occasionally but didn’t bother us. Big grassy sites. Great camp kitchen and lovely hot showers. Amenities were spotless. Goats were friendly and loved a scratch and a carrot. Heaps of bird life and beautiful red rump parrots & king parrots. Definitely come back as not far from Dubbo and also a few things to do in the area. Well done to the managers.
