Artesia RV Park & Storage

“If you're searching RV parks in Artesia, NM — read this first before making a huge mistake.” Absolutely appalled at how this RV park is run. My son and his girlfriend lived here for 6 months — first in Lot 32, then Lot 29 — on a lease that was only in her name. My son was never listed, yet the owner made him the center of everything once a problem came up. After a fake police call last week, the owner illegally ran a background check on my son — completely unauthorized and a violation of his privacy. Then, without proper notice, she tried to kick them out by Monday. But when I called the Artesia Sheriff’s Department, they confirmed she couldn’t do that under New Mexico law — she needed to give a fair timeline, especially since they were willing to leave. But instead of following the law, she confronted my son and told him they would cut off all utilities, and if he wasn’t out by 5 PM, she’d repossess his trailer and belongings. She even threatened to have the cops put a no occupancy sign on his camper, making it illegal for him to even be in the home he was living in. This isn’t just wrong — it’s illegal, threatening, and abusive. Management acts on personal grudges and has no respect for the law, privacy, or human decency. Beware — this could be you next.

Nice place to stay. No wifi or cable is offered. Some spaces have the sewer hook up to high (space 124). It's definitely challenging to get everything drained when it's too high. Love that they have trees and are trying to have grass between spaces. In my opinion, more trees should be on the west side of space for afternoon sun shade. Even so, I would stay there again. Sorry, I forgot to take some pictures.

A nice, safe/quiet play to park for a few days. They have daily, weekly and monthly rates. All hookups worked as they should. Nothing to ruin the visit. Bath and showers worked just fine. Location was perfect, checkin was a breezyas we had made reservations a month+ ahead. Our lot was spacious and k Level- I did not need anything to get the rig leveled. I can say that for about 35% of the places we've stayed. A good, solid place to go. 👍👍

Very nice and peaceful park... until the plant has a shut-in. Then, you get very limited peace and broken sleep patterns until the shut-in is over. People come in here with exhaust pipes, so loud, they rattle you clean out of bed... this starts at 3:30 or 4:00 am!!

Great prices for such excellent quality! We’ve stayed here for months. The office lady’s are always so kind and there is always yummy desserts at the office! The laundry rooms are nice. Plenty of luscious grass for dogs to play in. Love that I can have mail delivered to the office, makes it super convenient. Would defiantly recommend to anyone!
