Gorgeous park. Friendly staff. Fun event. We will be back for Park days next year! The staff and volunteers are are absolutely amazing and prompt with the shuttle rides. It was VERY MUCH appreciated this year especially, since I am on crutches and didn't want to miss any of the fun.
Great park for the size of the town. Pretty and on the river. The flood in 2024 took out a shelter and the volleyball courts. I mostly use it for disc golf. There is a nice playground. The baseball fields are here and there is a golf course as well. Lots of trees.
July 12 2024- Seems to be closed, maybe due to recent flooding? No info to be found on the website about why and how long… wanted to make a quick leg stretch stop when passing through but found all roads blocked off
Just stopped here to relax a few minutes and stretch my legs. From what I saw it was a nice place to camp, kids friendly, beautiful trees, well maintained.
1st time at Watona Park. Went for Park Days Saturday July 9th to see the live bands. The bands were outstanding! Good variety of food trucks and close parking. Looking forward to attending next year.
