Shark Bay Caravan Park

We absolutely loved our stay at Shark Bay Caravan Park - so much so that we ended up staying far longer than originally planned because we felt so at home here. The campground is beautiful, cosy, and has a very welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere - especially also for furry kids. It’s in walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. The campground hosts are incredibly kind, approachable, and clearly take great pride in keeping everything clean, organised, and well maintained. The amenities are outstanding: the toilets and showers are spotless, and there are even private family bathrooms, which is a huge plus. The music in the bathrooms is such a lovely touch and genuinely puts you in a good mood first thing in the morning. Washing machines and dryers are available and very clean, and the camp kitchen is well equipped. There’s also a lovely pool with great shaded areas, perfect for relaxing. The individual campsites are spacious, with a good mix of smaller and larger sites. One highlight is that many sites are set on beautiful white shells from nearby Shell Beach - camping on this shell ground truly feels special and makes the place feel like a little oasis. This campground really is a paradise, and we are incredibly grateful for the time we spent here. A huge thank you to the management and the wonderful team at Shark Bay Caravan Park for such an amazing stay. We can wholeheartedly recommend this place and would return in a heartbeat.

The place was very clean, quiet and very well located, near to the beach, which I loved it. As It was our first time camping, it was a bit hard for us to set up our tent, specially because of the strong wind on those days but we ended up very happy 😃 . Nice place for a Great value !

If you book a small camp spot you can’t put a gazebo up and park your car in the space. Great spot otherwise, back from the ocean so the wind isn’t as bad. Showers and bathroom were clean. In my opinion, the receptionist with short hair greets you like you’re an inconvenience, very unfriendly. The site has rules for dogs saying they’re not allowed to be left alone under any circumstances but also aren’t allowed in any of the ablutions - not sure what you expect a solo traveller to do in this scenario as that doesn’t leave us with any options.

Enjoyed our stay here. Had a site large enough to have awning out and car beside awning. Sites are separated by fences, and the roads around the park are wide so makes it easier to back vans in. The amenities are very clean. Didn’t use pool area so can’t comment. The price for a site was better out of school holidays 👍🏼😊

Great location. Honestly the cleanest van park I've stayed. Bathrooms were spotless. Staff were everywhere and always busy but friendly and happy to have a chat. Love the music playing in the bathrooms, nice touch. Grounds are well maintained. Very quiet at night. Sites are spacious and water tastes good. Pool was magnificent, definitely puts it above the other van parks in town. Short walk into town. Very well protected in windy weather as its back from town (and the water). We loved our stay! Great work team, we will be back!
