Golden Husky/Esso Travel Centre

I live here in golden I had a very bad experience at this Husky location . I went there at around 11:00 to redeem lottery tickets and was treated very rudely by an elderly woman working at the counter. Before I could finish explaining, she cut me off, asked if all the tickets were winners, and told me to get them checked first in a very disrespectful tone. When I calmly told her that two of the tickets were winners, she suddenly got angry and snapped at me for no reason.What makes this worse is that another employee was standing there and saw everything happen, but no one stepped in or said anything. This was not a small mistake — it was bad attitude, no professionalism, and poor customer service. Being older is not an excuse to treat customers badly. If someone cannot speak politely, they should not be working with customers. This situation clearly shows poor training and poor management. Either staff are not trained properly, or management does not care how customers are treated. Husky needs to take this seriously and fix the issue.I will not return to this location, and I suggest others avoid it if they expect basic respect.

I never thought I'd review a shower facility, but here I am. As a vanlifer, I've used a lot of shower facilities and this is one of the best I've ever had. Each stall is private, clean and spacious. And it has rain shower with consistently hot water. Warm ambient temperature, hot showers and no time limit– what's not to love? And oh, the friendliest gas station staff I've seen too. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is how you start a week! A huge breakfast served fresh fast and accurate, the smile and friendly respectful service of my server made a world of difference, I lived the day off the food and a week of the service, I just finished a reset and a new 70 hr week was on the horizon I fed of her positive vibes all week, I appreciated the effort as she wasn't exactly standing around she had a much larger table with atleast 8 guest and a few more came in after me, I felt like the only customer with endless coffee and a really good breakfast! Thanks! The gas station staff was nice and the shower was hot and clean! Really refreshing! Only knock is 8hr parking limit, some of us need a little longer then that for the laws sake I spent my dinner money at KFC because I knew I couldn't move in 8 hrs by law and I would need to park closer to them, just for thought.

Super kind and caring staff although the manager was a little antisocial. Bathrooms were fairly clean and the shower was nice and hot. Overall nice spot just off the highway

Huge Breakfasts/ Great Service! Clean Truck stop. Great place to pull off the highway and get a coffee and hearty breakfast. Clean showers and happy, friendly staff. Mountain views. **Note: This is 5* as far as a truck stop and good family restaurant goes....it is not a 5* fine dining venue. 👍
