Crawling Valley Campground is a true jewel on the prairies! It’s clean, well-maintained, and offers a peaceful atmosphere for a getaway. The campsites and tenting areas are a generous size, so you don’t feel cramped. Our family loved the beach area and the large playground. It’s also a dream for boaters—the docking area works great for both power and non-power boats. Whether you're into pike and walleye fishing or spending the day waterskiing and paddleboarding, there’s something for everyone. Highly recommend for a lovely family vacation!

Great campground. Very family oriented, well kept and clean, and nice scenery. Good variety of camping spots, and love all the rules, seriously. Especially the restriction on dog breeds that have been bred to be aggressive. Since we have young children, we do not want to be around those type of dogs. Yes, I know, everyone and everything is unpredictable, but these breeds did in an 86 year old lady who was gardening in Calgary in 2022, an 11 year old in Edmonton in 2024, and a family member in Southern Alberta in 2018 while protecting her child from their family dog. I feel I have to explain this because I know owners of those breeds don't want to admit their beloved pets belong to breeds that have been bred to be aggressive. A safe environment is especially important when you have young ones. They can ride their bikes or walk anywhere in the campground without having to worry about them. A big thank you to the management for running a beautiful, clean, and safe campground for families, young and old.

Wide open spaces! This campground is well spread out. You'll have lots of space between you and your neighbors. Staff is super friendly. Shower stalls are clean and well-maintained. I had an electrical hookup only. Free potable water and dump available. Nice beach area for kids/families. I was in site C30. Beautiful views of the water! They have a small but well stocked store with the basics. I would definitely stay here again!

I have only ever camp in the mountains, I had no idea what to expect here. I was pleasantly surprised. The campsites are big, and there are a lot of trees ! I will warn you be careful of the many goffer holes, they are everywhere. They have a small shop for check-in, snacks, ice cream, drinks, and a few other things. The playground is aweosme. The beach is nice to cool off, although within a few feet in, you will sink in the mud. Dock to fish off, seen a few people catching small fish. Boat launch area. Bathrooms are decent. Shower area with flushable toilets. The only negative thing I would say is that We only stayed the one night in hopes of staying two. We asked the lady working if we could book our second night first thing in the morning, I just wanted to see how the first night would go with the kids. She said no problem at all. The next morning, I showed up at opening to book, and they already booked our site to someone else. They said we could move to another side, but we were in a tent trailer, and that wouldn't work for us. And they wouldn't ask the other people if they would be willing to take another site. But that was just my experience, not a big deal, only wish it was handled better than what it was.
