The sanitation department office in Leadville, near the Colorado Mountain College, has a dump station for RVs. As of August 28, 2017, there is only one water spigot available at the dump station. This water spigot can be used to flush and fill your fresh tank, but it is advised to use caution when using it. The dump station is located on US-24, at the south edge of Leadville.

It would be really nice if Leadville Sanitation modernized their payment process. Just ridiculously difficult to give them your money.
Welcome to Leadville finest. One place in the town to dump. It is inconvenient, slow one dump station. One fresh water. Nasty dirty. But it does represent town management.
$20 to dump the RV tanks is a rip-off. It's not going into an underground tank that needs pumped - it goes into the sewer, costing the Dept. nothing. Talk about greedy. All you're doing is forcing people to dump it on the ground somewhere... And $10 for water??? It's no wonder they padlocked the faucet at the rodeo grounds. Here's an idea: try WELCOMING tourists, instead of shutting them out. Without them Leadville would be a ghost twn
As far as I know, This is the only dump station in Leadville (unless you stay overnight at "Sugar Loafin" campground). But it's convienent if you are camping in the area. Staff member at desk is very nice. I consider it fairly expensive. $20 to dump tanks and $10 for potable fresh water. You can go anytime. If you have the right change there's a box to put cash in- & you ARE on camera.
Easy to use, lines never more than 4-5 RVs on a Sunday afternoon. They have rv dump for $10 and fresh water but I don't recall the price on it ($5???). Conveniently located right off the main highway just south of downtown Leadville.
