I really enjoyed staying at Sully's. It was mostly full timers, but the spaces left for the travelers were great. They were long , level, and lots of space for our large truck. Very quiet and quaint. Can tell it is a very old park because the bathrooms were small and outdated and the showers very very small. There was no hot water, our bad luck. BUT, when I talked to Sully (?) He had a plumber there ASAP and got it fixed. Love the shady trees. Very friendly owners, and love the black lab Nash! Would recommend staying here.
Ok for one night. The 50 amp could only handle one heater in our class A, it would flip our breaker. No one in office. Needed to place cash or check in night slot. We were not informed about this before making reservation. Good bathrooms clean with alot of hot water.
Good for a one night stop while traveling. Small, quiet, level FHU sites, clean restrooms and showers, laundry, decent WiFi. There are many permanent residences in the back half of the park, but most are well maintained. We would stay here again.
We were heading through the area when we ran into a huge storm and decided we needed to find a place to stop for the night. Not many options in Alturas for RV parks, however, Sully's had the best ratings, so, we called to see if they had availability. We spoke to the on-site manager (Karen) and she said she did have availability for us and gave us directions on where to pull in when we were to arrive. Upon arrival, we noticed the cones to the pull through site were already set aside for us to enter. After pulling in (while it was still raining) Karen immediately greeted us and asked if the site was ok for us. It was and we were able to set up fairly quickly to get out of the rain. After the storm passed, Karen came back out to make sure all was well, which it was. There were several other instances when we needed assistance such as getting change for laundry and a few other random questions and Karen was always very helpful. The site itself was well cared for (paved with grass patio and picnic table). The laundry room had 2 washers and 2 dryers that were only $1 & $1.25 respectively. (The dryer closest to the door took extra long to dry and had to run it twice) All in all, we were very happy and would highly recommend. Special thanks to Karen for making this a great stay!
I love this little RV park! Feels very homey. The owner is very welcoming. I did laundry while I was there. Nice and clean laundry room. Can't beat the price, $1.25 to wash 1.00 to dry. Also have books and DVDs to take one leave one. Also nice park across the street to let your dogs run off leash The weather was great. I would definitely stay here again.
