This is a fun park for camping. There is so much to do. Swimming, basketball, tennis, pickle ball, horseshoes, and more. The office has all the equipment needed to use their courts/fields. Warning: Make sure you pack sneakers or something because of the sand burrs in the grass. We took a couple of teenagers, and they had fun swimming, hiking, and kayaking. The hosts and employees are super nice and will help out with any needs. My only dissatisfaction is with the full hookup sites. For some reason, they made the sewer drains sticking up 12 inches or so. That created back draining, so we couldn't use them, even with hose stands. Other than that, no complaints. It is a fun place to relax and have a wonderful time.
We had a great time for the 4th of July weekend! The camp grounds were peaceful and very comfortable. It was pretty packed but everyone was awesome and considerate. The 7 year old had a blast and made some friends too. The whole park and every one in it was super dog friendly. There were fireworks at all so the dogs weren't all skiddish the whole time too. Beautiful sandy beach right on the Columbia. Glad we went. Totally worth the drive!
We just purchased a new-to-us motorhome and this was our maiden voyage. We found Vista Park to be absolutely amazing! The location was quiet and the scenery was beautiful. We had reserved a spot right on the Columbia River so we could watch the ships go by, and we were not disappointed. The staff were extremely helpful and informative, and check-in was a breeze. We will definitely be going back here again.
Love this place. We have made it a tradition for the past 6 years Labor Day weekend to Come camp here. Great location and. The river is close by. The field has a bunch of pokies in it but I wouldn’t dock my 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ just because of that. It makes it apart of our memories and our experience there. Looking forward to coming back this weekend!!!!
Great campsite. Pleasant staff and all around enjoyable camping trip. Only 2 cons I have is lack of shade on alot of sites during summer, and locks on the showers need some attention for privacy. We will be returning next summer.
