workers were all super nice and accommodating. We ended up being one of a very few people staying, (middle of winter), so we experienced a very quiet park. The pool heater was broken on the first day we stayed, but was quickly fixed and we were able to enjoy it! Super clean pool/lazy river and hot tub. They also have a nice gas fireplace in the pool area, that’s super fun to sit around with friends/family! Hookups were standard, but good regardless. Also has super nice and clean showers!

This specific campground is not all at in sync with what we are used to from KOA. Our friends rented a cabin, and we stayed in our 38 foot motorhome. The cabin was clean, but the pots and pans need to be disposed of. They were badly scratched and dirty. The toilet was leaking upon arrival. The Wi-Fi was very spotty, at best. The area directly in front of our RV site was flooded, even though it hadn’t rained in days. We had to cross other campsites to avoid walking through a huge puddle. The pool and hot tub were also not working. We called and texted the emergency number about the leaky toilet, but never received a reply. I visited the office the following morning, and the woman who helped me was very helpful, and addressed most of our concerns. I asked for a partial refund for the first night due to the pool and hot tub not being available, and because the cabin bathroom was not useable the first night. She assured me should would follow up, but that never happened. We paid $345 a night for the deluxe cabin. I understand things go wrong sometimes, but this KOA could have handled the situation better. The vibe of this KOA was just off, and not the quality service we have become accustomed to from KOA.

We spent 3 nights here the first week in December. The park store was well stocked and staff was friendly. The park is located next to a great walking path for dogs and people. They are also near a Tram service that takes you to Dollyworld. They had a great dog washing station, although it only had cold water. I think this is a very busy park in the summer. It was fairly busy while we were there.

My family travels all over central and eastern United States, this KOA has to be the best campground experience I’ve ever had, with fun activities for the kids and within walking distance from downtown! The staff here is AMAZING and the campground is very organized with staff monitoring it 24/7. I definitely feel safe here and put at ease with knowing that if I need anything, they would do their best to accommodate! This is our second time at this KOA and the very first time we’ve booked the same campground ever! We will only use this KOA when coming into town! I highly recommend staying here in either cabins or with your RV! They do have washer and dryers but not that big or a spot, if it’s too busy in there, there is a coin laundry right across the street!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5-Star Review – KOA Campground, Pigeon Forge KOA Pigeon Forge is a great place to stay if you’re looking for a clean, convenient, and family-friendly campground right in the heart of the Smokies. The location alone is a huge plus—you’re minutes from Dollywood, The Island, and all the fun in Pigeon Forge, but still tucked away enough to feel like a real camping getaway. The sites are well-maintained, the staff is friendly, and the amenities are solid. We enjoyed the pool area, the camp store is well stocked, and the bathhouses were clean throughout our stay. It’s an easy spot for both RVs and tent campers, and the campground feels safe and organized. The only reason I’m giving it four stars instead of five is that the sites can feel a bit close together during busy weekends, and the traffic getting in and out can be a little hectic—but that’s expected in Pigeon Forge. Overall, KOA Pigeon Forge is a dependable, enjoyable place to camp, and we’d definitely stay again!
