Texada RV Park

Ron and Anar are the nicest people you would ever want to meet. My daughter and I have been staying there for years during hunting season and they are always so kind to us. To me it's more like recommending a couple of good friends than a business.

Well its a trailer park so like most of them, you have good residents and some that may make you not want to go near the place again. Located just at the end of the main road from the ferry and across from the only gas station on the island, with a large sign you can't miss when you enter the town in Van Anda. This fairly good sized park has a public laundry mat with 5 washers at $4 a load and 5 dryers, at $3 a load, which is a great help in our small community and useful to many, they do close the doors at 8pm. There is also a room behind the laundry mat with 2 more washers and dryers and a public shower which I can't say for sure but believe its $2 per 4 minutes, extremely useful amenity to have available, and the doors are locked around 8pm for this as well, unless you are a resident of the park then you are provided a key to this room. The spots are usually full without availability but you might get lucky if looking and get a spot you need. I believe its $550 per month with electricity, water and internet included. The owners I have not met myself, and as most places go, I have heard good and bad about them, not having my own experience personally I won't be judging or commenting regarding their character, only to say that its good of them to provide the service they do for this small community and they do seem to keep the park fairly clean, they could however at times rethink their decisions when it comes to evicting certain residents causing issues, but knowing how stressful and difficult it is to run a business like this, nobody can truly understand or judge what they do when it comes to trying to keep the place a float and running as best they can for themselves. Thankful for their services and I would recommend you make your own opinion and check for yourself if looking for a place to park your home or call home however temporary or permanent it may be.

Had my trailer on the island and they were kind enough to dump my tanks for a small fee. Saved my driving to the other end of the island. They have new pads there with full hookups and reasonable rates.

Ron and Anar (the owners) will bend over backwards to make you happy. Two of the finest people I have ever met.
