Marquart Lake Recreation Site

We camped here when we were in Meritt, not far from the town. Clean toilet, Usually quiet, the site operator will come and collect the $ 15 fee. The site is first come first serve.

Even on a Thursday this early into the summer season be advised it's a lot of big trailers and RVs and group camping with quads and motorcycles, the lake does look littered with small boats and people fishing as well. So depending on what you're looking for maybe it'll work, but if you want more off the beaten path quiet Camp spot this wouldn't be it.

Camped here for 1 night in April. It's first come first serve and there were plenty of spots open on a Saturday night. Each site has a picnic table and fire ring, but you have to bring your own firewood. Outhouse was clean and sites were well maintained. No complaints!

Beautiful grassland setting. Lots of flowers during May and early June.
