Pietrek County Park

Pietrek park is a nice quiet campground with just enough amenities to make you feel comfortable. They have a playground for the children and a beach on the trempealeau river. It's shallow but it's a good time to cool off The dump station is a little strange in its positioning, when you park to dump, other campers have to go on the grass to get around you... Also, there is a sign that says it's $10 to dump, it does not make it clear if it is for non-campers or campers.. we did not pay the $10 fee because we camped there... I assume it's a non-camper fee. All in all it's a nice campground with not much to do for the adults, but we don't go camping to fill our days with activities... Just sitting around the campfire and relaxing is enough.

Excellent ground keepers, perfect place for family camping. Definitely be weary of the season, this place can get wet and flood quickly. The bathroom and shower house was one of the better places I’ve stayed with and maintained well. Definitely would return. Lots of people stay in anticipation for Ashley for the Arts.

Was driving out in the middle of nowhere, when my coffee kicked in much faster than anticipated. Would poop here again. 🙏🏻 I didn’t experience any other areas of this park, but I’m sure it’s absolutely amazing.

Large sites with water and electric. Very quiet. Nicely groomed hiking trails.

Big sites. A small beach for everyone to play in the water. The campground has walking trails.
