The caravan park was neat, clean, and easily accessible. Hot showers, clean amenities, great bbq in the camp kitchen. Together with river views, it was a lovely 3 night stay. Quiet location but still close enough to Albany for dining out & shopping.
Happy Days was like a resort. Sweeping lush lawns by the river. Lots of space between bays and so quiet and peaceful. Great pristine amenities, fully equipped camp kitchen and happy accomodating staff. 2 mins walk to the pub and few mins drive to town.
We have just enjoyed a lovely stay at Happy Days. We loved our riverfront site. The grounds and facilities were immaculate and consistently maintained. The staff were very helpful and went the extra mile (thanks Jeff!). We definitely recommend Happy Days Caravan Park.
Just want to reply to the last three reviews, we offered you both alternative sites not one but two to choose from. We also gave you both full refunds in cash, which was 330$ and 220$ minus one nights stay as you both left late in the afternoon when we were closing up. You both took our site cards with you. Which belong to Happy Days. And your husband’s skidded out the gate , In our whole 13 years of being here we have never had anyone not be happy for a site on the River front, they are our most requested sites, and we have 5 families on those sites at the moment with toddlers and small children who are absolutely enjoying them. And have requested to stay on River front sites next year. We don’t normally reply to reviews but we wanted to share our side of the story.
Absolutely appalling management and customer service, couldn’t care less if you, or your children, lived or died. Reneged on the agreed full refund after we arrived and they couldn’t fulfill the booking made over 6 months in advance and provide a safe site for our young family. Recommend staying at King River Palms on the other side instead, equally beautiful sites and facilities but the owners actually care for their visitors and are warm, welcoming and accommodating.
