Golden Pond Campground

Sad place, stayed here while working in the area. Moved as soon as I found something better. No amenities at all. The pond is disgusting and filthy. The ducks they have living there can't go in the water because it's so dirty. Rotten people who don't take care of these domestic pet ducks, they don't feed them or give them any water. I helped them during the hottest part of the summer, and some other neighbors fed them and give them water. They were all killed one night cuz they didn't have a pen or any shelter to stay in at night, mind you these were not wild ducks. after these ducks were all killed, the owners just brought a whole new group of ducks from someplace else, dump them off and just left them there. Apparently they think it looks nice to have ducks around. Even though they don't clean up after them, and don't take care of them at all. Stay away, you'll be glad you did.

Small RV park, somewhat difficult to find. All gravel road, the RV lots appear to be somewhat hap-hazardly scattered. A few lots have trees, several miles South of I-85 near Salisbury, NC

Stayed here for 6mo while working as a travel nurse. Nice private setting with two stocked ponds for fishing, most sites have a concrete patio. This is a long-term RV Park suited to people working locally but it is well maintained and everyone is very friendly. It has small two machine laundry facility and aging bathhouse, but there is a laundromat and Food Lion about 10m away in Spencer. The manager Todd is great and easy going, you'll have to call him about a spot as they seem to keep a wait-list. Also, no dog park but they are pet friendly without breed restrictions and areas to walk, just let them know.

Rv parking lot behind someones house with 2 ponds. If you want to park like at walmart parking lot with what appeared full hookups and alot of tight turns to get in and out go for it. Did a ride through and made my decision. Not trashy but no amenities except a old carp pond and another pond. Not ging a good nor bad review. Just not my cup of tea and maybe help someone save a drive.

Beautiful, peaceful, relaxing place to stay! I love it here! I've traveled all around the United States, staying in many campgrounds and I have to say this is definitely one of my favorites! The neighbors are all extremely friendly and welcoming! The manager here is always available, helpful and makes sure everyone is taken care of! You couldn't ask for a better experience or place to call home while you're here!! Would most definitely stay here again and will be sad when it is time to leave! Overall AWESOME!! Highly recommend Golden Pond Campground!
