Only went for day use, but it's a nice place to take my dog to walk around and get some exercise with some pretty scenery.
This is a super nice park!! One of the nicest I’ve been to. Beautiful! And smooth paved roads. Nice facilities. Brand new brick AC cabins with screen porches.
Awesome campground with the nicest campsite I have ever stayed at. Beautiful water views. Laundry room was pretty rough but the machines worked very well. The Mississippi State Parks I have stayed have all been beautiful and well maintained.
Percy Quin State Park is a beautiful park, even in the winter. The cabins are wonderful, new and way better than many parks. They are also squeaky clean. The kitchen has the bare necessities, so if you like to cook, bring your own knives, cutting boards, pancake turner, salad bowl and a casserole pan. Also, you might want to bring a bath mat and extra towels, and shampoo. The paths in the park are in fair to bad shape, but the flora and fauna is diverse and interesting. Lots of cool birds and frog song on the lake is cool.
It’s a beautiful place, has good fishing and nice grills at the pavilions. Some of the public restrooms could use some upgrading and cleaning. The cabins are usually well maintained (at least if you like living in a small cabin in the woods and aren’t expecting to live in style🤭) and have good views of the lake. The primitive camping sites are nice and lots of fun too.
