City of Yorkton Campground
About
The Yorkton City Campground is located on the North West corner of the city, on Highway 16 (York Road). If you are entering from the West, it is the first establishment you will come across. If you are entering from the East by the tourism building, you need to turn North (Right) out of the tourism parking lot and continue for 2.7 km (1.7 miles) until you reach the third set of traffic lights at York Road. At that point, you should turn West (Left) and continue for 2.4 km (1.5 miles). After passing the lake on the South (Left) side of the road, you will see the entrance to the campground on your left. Simply turn South (Left) into the approach and after approximately 30 meters (100 feet), turn West (Right) into the campground.

Easy to find. Very noisy at night with lots of trucks and trains going by. Tha washroom and shower were disgusting and I went to the office to ask a question but the camp attendant was drunk and sitting with campers drinking. Could be a nice place to stay but obviously not being run right.
Decent bathrooms, loved the book wall. Half the staff was friendly. Disappointed in how open the site was. I wouldn't consider it family friendly at all. Has potential. But would not return.
Ok for one night, showers way outdated and not clean, good effort by staff to make it presentable with inspirational quotes and music. I was not expecting much, but was a quiet night sleep, managed well. Priced very affordable.
Excellent RV campground if you’re looking for a stopover travelling across Canada. Very large RV drive thru spots available, excellent large grassed area for running dogs loose. Hospitable Staff. Only negative thing is due to proximity of highway the sound of vehicles carries through the Campground. And the trains at night?… fun….
This campground is cute and very lovely, and is well decorated. Very clean and well kept bathrooms. Staff are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Brenda was a sweetheart and was very helpful even though we got in very late, and she was a delight. Features warm running water in the bathrooms and there are showers as well. Our stall was clean and had water and power. Right off the highway which was also convenient.
