Really beautiful campground that’s very well maintained, the beach and trails around are awesome. Only thing to note is the unsealed road for 5km that leads to it - manageable on a 2WD but have to take it really slow. and definitely try to avoid rainy days if you don’t own a 4WD

Facilities are good and clean. Most of the sites are big but unfortunately no trees. Seems very newly upgraded perhaps and they need to plant more to get shade. Otherwise beautiful location directly next to the beach with some outdoor showers to get the sand and salt off. Make sure you arrive after 2pm as they don't allow to set up before even when a big storm comes. One very terrible thing is that they use rat poison and I found 3 dying rats and a Magpie who snatched one of the poisoned rats. So poor wildlife around camp is getting poisoned too. Unbelievable that the NP would use rat baits. They might as well release some cats.

Amazing campground. Plenty of space, right next to the beach. Although there were tons of people, we felt relaxed and were able to enjoy the time. The facilities is well kept and clean. Would definitely go back there.

Just had 3 days at this hidden gem of a camp ground - large caravan sites - sites are well grassed and well maintained - there are no powered sites ( this is stated on the web site) - you need to bring your drinking water - water is available but not drinkable. The amenities are very clean and well maintained (cold showers only). Camp ground staff are very friendly and helpful. Fishing, swimming, surfing and bush walking are the main activities or you can sit back and enjoy the ocean views. There is a short walk up to the headland with stunning views. Sites need to be pre booked ( the camp site is very popular). The only negative I could mention was that we copped plenty of south easterly winds for three days - but hey who can control the weather - still had a great time - highly recommend
