Just an all around shitty place to go, somewhere you should definitely avoid if possible. The car wash is garbage and the customer service even more so.
Just a heads up the shell drive thru car wash in gibsons is terrible. Spent 25 on a car wash and it came out dirtier. Asked for refund and they refused. They offered me another carwash but there carwash is obvioulsy need maintenance. I simply wanted a refund on my carwash the clerk even showed videos to the manager of how dirty it was and they still refused to refund my money. The manager on phone started yelling and screaming at me demanding i pay for the water i used. Very terrible customer service.
Car wash is way overpriced and not worth it. Might as well throw a bucket of water on your car and save $25. Don’t get it.
I brought my brand new vehicle in after a road trip and spent $10 on the power wash to tackle the tougher spots first. Then I went through the $21 automatic wash, expecting a proper clean for the price. Unfortunately, the wash lasted less than five minutes, the soap was so diluted it looked like soapy water, and worst of all the car still came out dirty. I showed the results to the attendant, but she insisted there was nothing wrong with the system, even after seeing the condition of the car. I shared my experience respectfully, but the truth is that this service just isn’t up to standard. If a premium wash costs over $20, customers should receive a premium clean not a rinse and dash. The part that stings most is that we’re a small town. Too often, there’s this idea that because we're local, we’ll settle for less. But that’s not the Coast way. We live here, we support each other, and we deserve quality in return when we spend our hard-earned money locally. Let’s raise the bar because we all benefit when we hold each other to a higher standard.
The employee was very friendly and helpful, working hard and mopping when I walked in. I used the washroom and it was clean. We used the free air and sani dump. This was a great everything place to stop when travelling with an RV.
