Foreshore Park

Amazing place for a walk, to sit down and enjoy the view by lakeside. Lots of parking and easy walk for everyone with a playground for children.

The park was partially underwater due to the amount of rain in the area recently, however the views across the lake mixed with the range of established deciduous, native, and conifer trees make this a magical location for a walk. Currently you will need to detour through the caravan park if you want to go further. You will be able to see where the path normally goes from the street lamps sticking up through the water.

If you are looking for a relaxing stroll or walk or even for Jogging, the walkway around the edge of the lake is great. Lot's of interesting bird life as well. We did notice that in some areas the walk way and playground was under water.

Nice foreshore park for a stroll, a bike ride and some pics...not so Longboard friendly. When in Jindy you really can not avoid a visit it if you want to get out and about. We were fortunate to be there when not a lot of visitors were in town, so the path wasn't packed as it is just a standard footpath and all passing traffic was able to make room. Some nice photo ops along the way.

Beauriful location. Great place to relax, picnic or go for a swim. Fantastic place to take your dog for a swim. Beautiful scenery.
