If you're looking for an RV spot or a good place to pitch the tent for visiting Thermopolis, this is where you want to go. Very excellent management of park. Very nice RV spots (from the look of it, we pitched a tent) and good places for the tent. Very nice bath house recently built. Women's and men's both have 2 stalls, showers and sinks. Double laundry in main area with kitchen sink. They did a good job on it you know? I'm pretty sure they're doubling their ranch with this so there's an active field right behind the park but they also keep the animals ready for petting zoo for the children! We went back in August and brought our 3 year old daughter, she loved it! They have food readily available to feed the critters and everything. They provide firewood for you and even some freshly picked eggs in the morning! They're just outside town enough and hidden behind the butte that they have very little light pollution, very good view of the stars and milky way on site. For what it's worth to those reading this far, we were treated to very good hospitality and had a great experience. Wish I'd taken more pictures but I am hesitant to publish my daughter on these things

We were traveling through the state in our Schoolie- and called within a few hours of arriving asking for an opening. Owner told us to stop over and make ourselves at home! Super reasonably priced compared to the KOAS we were staying at. They even brought us fresh eggs in the morning and let me hold one of the baby goats they just had. Super cool place- wish we could have stayed longer. 10/10 customer service. If we travel through again in the future we will be back!

Crippled Spider Campground was awesome. I have to share how terrific Lisa was: check in, giving us fresh eggs, her whole vibe, and especially — letting me hold the baby goats 🥰 Thank you, Lisa! Wyatt is a character, loved talking with him. Ranch hand Jimmy was such a sweet kid (also gave us eggs!). Great location near Thermopolis’ Hot Springs State Park where we soaked in the glorious mineral hot pool. Big Horn River is across the highway and gorgeous! The array of animals at the campground was such a treat. They even have bags of treats (hay block nibbles) available to feed the goats who pop their heads through the fence built for it. Love this place and will be back!

Wyatt the owner is awesome and the campground is nice and open!! We had a pull through with full hookups. Lots of animals to feed and pet. Free fresh eggs, laundry and firewood. We got to hold and even babysit day and a half old baby goats at our campsite. Nothing cuter!! I also wanted to give Jimmy a shout out! Thank you for delivering the goats and your pleasant attitude!! We will remember this stop for a long time and will stay with you again whenever we are back in Wyoming. Take good care of Lil’ Goatee!!

Our host was great, so friendly. Our stay included a bundle of firewood and a dozen eggs laid that morning. The next day he brought over another dozen eggs since his chickens laid so many. The bathrooms were clean and nice with plenty of hot water (the German family of tourists used so much the entire place was steamy but there was still plenty for me). But best of all was the petting zoo. My kid was crazy for it. He fed a giant longhorn by hand and made friends with all the horses. He's five and he was able to demonstrate some independence by walking over himself when he wanted to say hi, which he did at every available opportunity. Highly recommended for a kids first car camping experience.
