Even on a rainy day it is lovely here. The bird life and wombats are so cute!
We had a campervan overnighter here at the start of June and we were just about the only ones (nobody else is silly enough to camp in winter). Beautiful and peaceful and clean. Drop toilet is good. There is no water available. Camp fires are allowed and it seems to be absolutely free for up to 14 days.
The listing gives a good outline for what is available. There is no drinking water or water for the toilet or dump site so bring your own. The outlook is marvellous - so wonderful on our first night and peaceful looking over the lake. The second day it was windy which was a contrast. Make sure you get in early for an overnight stay as the parking is very crowded with vans and people using the boat ramp.
Epic campground, plenty of space to pull up, we pulled into the slalom course and had it all to ourselves. Please take your rubbish with you so places like these can continue to stay nice and benefit us all 🙏 Enjoy!
