Flynns Beach Caravan Park

My stay at Flynns Beach Caravan Park was let down by the behaviour of the owner‑manager. Instead of offering basic courtesy, they were rude when I asked simple, reasonable questions. It’s disappointing, because good customer service should be the foundation of any accommodation business. The location itself may be nice, but the attitude I encountered overshadowed the experience. I hope management improves their approach for future guests.

We found the reception staff helpful and very friendly, as was any cleaning staff we spoke with. Love the tree's for shade and the bird life that live in them. We had a powered site, would be nice if had a concrete slab. The amenities had great hot water. The bucket of water with mop certainly does smell by the next morning. Maybe just leave a dry mop. Great to have The Local next door for a bite to eat n drink. Would certainly recommend this park and if in Port Macquarie again would park our caravan. A short walk to the beach and great coastal walks near by. Plus Sea Acres Boardwalk as must to do Thank you for a great stay .

We stayed at Flynns Beach Caravan Park on the way back from a trip to the Gold Coast, for two nights. We paid well over $500 for the beach house accommodation, and was bitterly disappointed. The cabin we rented was one of the oldest in the park, the photos on their website were terribly docked, and looked far nicer on the website than in real life. The railing up the stairs was broken, my daughter nearly fell through this on the first afternoon we arrived, and the stairs were rickety. Inside fairly clean, however the shower screen was rusted in place in the bathroom, and a shower curtain was the replacement. Beds were hard, and makeshift...timber bed base made out of offcuts, and a strange mattress with springs felt through at times. Advertised WIFI but in actual fact in the beach house, this did not work at all. On the whole, felt ripped off with cost, we did travel over the long weekend, so I understand prices are inflated, but even at a cheaper cost, still would not stay again.

We did a 5 week trip up the East Coast and this was one of our favourite campsites. The cooking facilities were clean. The bathrooms were modern and clean, also were cleaned throughout the day. The staff were great over the phone and being a late arrival was totally stress free. The camp site is also a short walk away from a lovely beach. Would definitely recommend!

A Fantastic, Stress-Free Stay! We just spent a wonderful Friday here. The caravan park is very easy to access. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Best of all, the amenities block was clean & well maintained. Overall value for money.
