Upper Blue Sanitation District
About
There is a public RV dump site called Upper Blue Sanitation District, formerly known as Breckenridge Sanitation Station. The RV dump is located on the east side of the road. To reach the dump site, you need to drive about 2 blocks to the end of the lake access road. This is necessary in order to turn big rigs around so that they are facing the correct way to dump. At this dump site, you can find potable water for drinking and rinse water for non-potable use. The location of the dump site is State Route 9 at Swan Mountain Road.

This is the only rv dump station with fresh water in the area. There's only one dump spot to empty your tanks, but 2 water pumps to fill your rv with fresh water. It's easy to drive in and turn around at the kayak launch. $10 with a slot on the building to pay while on camera. New signage is needed as the writing on the white sign shown, is too faded to read.
$10 to dump your RV, nobody beats that, not even Dealing Doug. Potable water available also. important note: this is a self service site, no attendant on duty. Have cash or check to deposit in the little pay slot in the wall of the building. Don't even think about dump and dash (haha), there is a one way glass window where the guy sits and watches. It's a minimum wage job but he's able to get considerable work done towards his masters degree, oh and he gets a bonus for anyone caught dumping and not paying
Easy to get in and out of. Clean, uncrowded. Tank dump and fresh water for only $10.00. Less than 30 minutes including the drive from Prospector Campground and back.
$10.00 have cash on hand to put money into slot on side of building, they have camera(s). 1 dump station & potable water available. Sometimes there can be a line. Convenient for those camping around Dillon Reservoir (we were at Prospector Campground so great stop whether on your way in or out to take care of your rig).
So glad we found this place because had to fill up our camper and the campsite we booked shut down their water supply. We saw three different spots to fill up and they also offer dumping for a price.
