Shell Station - Westside Shell

On the 8th of February in the morning (yesterday) my daughter and her bf went into the gas station to get an energy drink. They either go to coop across the stress or shell, as they live up the road. Anyway as they proceeded to the cash, the employee says to them "do you really think you can get away with not paying every day?" My daughter is shocked and says "excuse me" he pulls out his phone and shows them a picture, she then says "um, that's not even us". They say a few works back and forth, my daughter pays, they leave. It bothered her enough that she called me upset. This morning February 9th. I go to this gas station. I walk in and the employee is standing directly behind 2 young girls in the store acting like he's stocking (which he's not) those young girls were clearly uncomfortable so they left. When my daughter walks in he locks eyes with her multiple times. Which then I ask to speak to him. I bring up the accusations from the day prior and he insists he was simply checking to make sure it wasn't them. I repeated multiple times that approaching children in a store saying "do you really think you can get away without paying everyday" is accusatory and made them feel uncomfortable. He then said they look very similar to the thieves to which he showed me a photo and it was VERY clear immediately that those were not even remotely similar and look nothing at all like my daughter and her bf. Not even the same color hair. My suggestion to him was to deal with these situations very different and not to approach people (especially children) being accusatory. Not only does it leave the children feeling upset and confused. It can greatly affect your place of business. He still insisted that he didn't understand what he did was wrong. Until he does, this is going to be an issue. And one day it'll be a parent that will be extremely fired up and could be worse than how I handled the situation. This isn't the first incident at this station. Your workers have cornered customers (young girls) on many different occasions. Please train your workers better when dealing with situations like this.

The manager, Harman, is very kind, polite, gracious, and considerate. Every time I visit I enjoy my experience. Today, he took the time to offer me the new coffee, and creams. Clean store and well organized. Thank you.

I always require V power fuel and my car loves v power shell fuel. Also the team running the store is really awesome and friendly to chat with

Customers service absolutely terrible. I asked the guy to buzz us in to get a drink and chips. he said we close at 10pm. I was like no problem it’s 9:10pm so can u let me in so I can get food. He then continued to roll his eyes. Quite disrespectful. Not sure if this is a new policy to lock customers out of gas stations now but thought It was very usual?!
