Elliott Heads Holiday Park

Good location. Everyone's rather close together but to be predicted being school holidays. The rock pools are lovely and beach and walks so close. Good skatepark too.

Great little park, very nice. Site 136 is very roomy but dominated by a small Bunya Pine: to access services you either park under the pine "across" the site or on the other side which requires 20m umbilicals. Not much grass either on this site, plenty on the others. Park is close to an almost private beach and short walk to surf club and fish & chips shop. Very nice.

There is abundant marine life around Elliot Heads Holiday Park. The sea water and the Elliot river are very clear offering excellent visibility for the snorkeller. The beaches are sheltered making it a good place to practice sea kayaking. You can paddle out through the breakers then go parallel to the shore to the river. The prevailing winds are off-shore in spring. The Elliot Heads Holiday Park amenities are in excellent condition and well maintained by the staff. The area is free of rubbish and is clean and tidy. There is a wide concrete footpath around the Elliot Heads Holiday Park. Going left you will see ocean waves braking beneath the bluff on rocks as you walk through clean and tidy parklands overlooking the ocean. Going right, you can walk around the Fish and Chip shop all the way to the Elliot Heads general store. The Elliot Heads general store is a relic of the 19'th century and is rustic and nostalgic. I did have an after hours issue which was resolved within five minutes by the competent and friendly staff.

Well laid out caravan park. Grass and slab sites. Few entry points with the car made it easy coming and going. Clean and tidygrounds also amenities serviced regularly fob entry made it safe. Nice hot showers $4 washing machine Friendly staff $54 power site with water per night 100 mt walk to nice swimming beaches, rock pools not far. Little cafe up the road

Stayed 3 nights, powered site. Good rate for area. Lovely managers, lovely location and very clean amenities right near the beach. Nearby playground for kids. Walking track to esplanade nearby and short walk to kiosk which serves good food at reasonable prices, though there's s spacious camp kitchen. Good laundry. Recommend it. Far nicer than some other sites within 100k.
