This is our second stay at River's Edge RV Park, the first one was for a month back in 2021. There have been some improvements made, specifically restrictions on permanent residents. Long term stays are allowed, but they are very strict in the types of rigs and site maintenance, which is greatly appreciated. The park is beautiful, with great views of the river, and a dock and boat ramp to access it if you want. Very shaded and quiet. With a digital TV antenna it is possible to get reception from Boise channels. Cell service is sketchy, and WIFI non-existent. The sites are very tight, but we had no problem fitting with our 41' fiver and tow vehicle. This makes a quiet, relaxing home base while exploring the nearby wine tour and the Boise area in general. I highly recommend. Improvements are ongoing, and the bathrooms were under renovation while we were there. Nearby Homedale has great grocery shopping, fast food and laundry. In addition to the wine trail, there is great golfing only minutes away.
Lovely little campground in rural Idaho about 20 minutes away from Boise. It’s a ways off the freeway so not a good location if you’re just looking for a quick stop. It is in a beautiful setting and very quiet. The bathrooms are under renovation. They did have 1 open for use but no water pressure in the shower. Once the bathrooms are complete, I would rate this a 4.5/5 star.
River's Edge is pleasant and quiet, though with our Cub Scout pack it was less quiet 🙃. Reservations and check-in were easy and we had ample space for our group to gather and enjoy a beautiful evening and morning together. A great staycation for local adventurers!
This RV Park is really more campground which in my book is a good thing. Some sites are closer together than others, but no worse than any other rv park. This is pretty rural, not a lot close to here. There are a few restaurants and an Albertsons in Homeland. A few restaurants in Wilder. Laundry mat in Homeland. It was very quiet when we were here we arrived on a Sunday and stayed until Saturday. The park is gravel and grass. There are full hookups and other sites with just electric. There is River access. Tent camping and cabins. Most sites have trees. There are some electric only sites that don’t have trees. Verizon 1-2 bars, AT&T 2-5 bars. We were able to get mail here. The sunsets are amazing. The only real downside is the bathroom/shower house. I posted pictures so you can form your own opinion. There is also a bit of trash on some sites and in fire rings. There is a dumpster on site.
We absolutely love Rivers Edge! This stay we also rented a couple of cabins. They are nothing fancy, but homey. It ses like every time we go here the owners have updated or done something new. They are amazing to work with and VERY attentive, quick to respond, and go out of their way to make sure you are taken care of. It's close enough to the city, yet off the beaten path so you feel like you are "in the hills". We have a 38ft RV and they are one of the few places that was actually fit. :)
