A very uninspiring caravan park and unbelievably expensive during the Queenscliff Music Festival - $110 per night for a very small and basic powered site! And there isn't even a camp kitchen. I definitely will not be coming back The only positive is that it’s by the sea
Spent over 10 years here, couldn’t recommend it more
Disappointing Experience. Poor Communication and Rude Staff: Our stay at this park was incredibly frustrating due to the lack of clear rules and regulations. Despite the website stating that dogs are allowed, we were reprimanded by the caretaker for having our dog. To make matters worse, the only signs prohibiting dogs were on the beach not in the park itself. “dog must be on leash, dogs are not allowed on the beach from Dec-Feb 8am 9pm” something like this. This caused unnecessary confusion and made us feel unwelcome. The situation with the fire ban was even more appalling. According to the park’s website we must follow any restrictions declared or any fire ban imposed and according to the CFA website, fires were allowed in the area, and we used a safe fire pit. However, the caretaker stormed over with a fire extinguisher and aggressively put out our fire, claiming there is a total fire ban at all times in the park. Apparently, this is an old rule that the park has failed to update on its website. The caretaker’s behavior was absolutely unacceptable. We followed all the information provided online, only to be met with hostility and contradictory rules. This level of mismanagement and poor communication left us disappointed and feeling disrespected. We won’t be returning and cannot recommend this park to anyone.
A beautiful place, great views, only a few other campers about so even better, no dog policy a great as no barking or bull mastif dogs creating any fear.
Strange campsite. Quite deserted, old bathrooms and very dry grass. Would be ok if it was cheap, but we paid 68$, more than any other campsite we’ve stayed in in Australia. Wouldn’t recommended. Office is also not on site so check in was a bit of a faff and had to ask another customer for the code.
