Doon Reserve Caravan Park

What an amazing spot! We had so much fun on the river. Staff were amazing, helping us out with extra power leads and water hoses to accommodate our vans. It would be great if you could add another toilet block on-site, I felt it was always quite busy but we did go Australia Day Weekend. We’ll definitely be back!

We love this park. We come here even when we’re not camping just for a swim. Super friendly staff. Very laid back old school park. No fancy playgrounds or games rooms to keep the kids from using their own imaginations. Just simple snd relaxing

Always fantastic. Justin and the team are friendly and accomodating. The river is gorgeous and the facilities are clean and tidy. Could t be happier with a camping experience. First review but I’ve camped there probably 7 times now. Will absolutely be back

Highly recommend Doon reserve! Just returned from a 3 night stay camping and wish I was still there! All the staff were so friendly and Welcoming, shout out to Justin and Tom on his tractor! The facilities were clean, and had everything you would need in the camp kitchen. We spend our days floating down the river. Hiked La La falls and enjoyed the wildlife around us. Kookaburras, ducks, cockatoos, bin chickens and Gary the resident Goose! Thanks Doon team, we will definitely be back!

We were so lucky to get a booking during the busy NY week & Justin was so accommodating, finding us a wonderful unpowered Tent site near the children's playground in Zone 7 for 2 nights. Absolutely memorable experience for me and my little family. My 3yo had the best time making friends with our camping neighbours' children & the fun we had on the river was top tier. Honestly, the river was just magical & I felt energized getting in and out of that water. You could feel the joy from others on the water & the surrounding nature made for a relaxing & calming experience. Waking up to the sounds of all the wildlife was amazing. Thank goodness the sun came out in the days we were there... we even got a sun shower on Saturday 😄 Our camping neighbours were a wonderful bunch of people, some of them even sharing their dinner with us on the last night we were there. Facilities were better than expected with the camp kitchen, showers and toilets all clean & well maintained. They even have a laundry, which is so convenient with an area to hang washing nearby. So convenient! You can tell a lot of love has been put into this place & Justin's easy going, open and friendly manner made this such a worthwhile experience. For river play we were able to buy our floaties here & were given tips on how to use the heavy duty patch (which I realized comes in the floaty pack) to fix up holes made by pointy tree branches in the river. Definitely an experience to remember. Thanks so much Justin & team for being awesome. We're aready looking forward to our next trip here & will make sure to book well in advance. 🌄
