Whittington Beach Park

very pretty and quiet park with nice facilities and a great view; looked like there were some nice shady spots for camping

Beautiful setting, great waves and breeze, families, only one downer. The porta potty had no toilet paper and the lock was broken. Needs replacement not just service.

Beautiful and quiet. Not as crowded as other beaches. There are picnic tables for you to enjoy. Great location to visit.

This small quiet beautiful park has open spaces for walking, playing with children and dogs, picnic tables, access to the water, and lovely large shade trees. We had the joy of watching whales frolic in the water, too! It's not crowded, easy access for disabled parking and getting to the tables or shaded areas. Bring chairs, a picnic, water, and sunscreen. A very pleasant and relaxing park.

Beautiful place to watch the waves and enjoy a peaceful beach. It's not a typical sandy beach. It's lava rocks...But you can get in the water and explore the tide pools. The remains of an old pier are visible. This was a major port during the height of the Sugar Cane Plantations. Don't miss the huge, very old Banyan Tree...
