What a lovely place to take family and friends. Clean, defined walkways, well kept landscape, educational tidbits throughout.

Recently I went to Cove Lake State Park in Caryville, TN. The Cove Lake State Park is +670 acres which includes the Lake itself. This State Park offers Picnic Areas, there is a Basketball court and a swimming pool, Canoeing Areas. Years ago, you used to be able to Camp there, no sure if they are doing that anymore or not. I have camped there many times when I was younger. Most of the Park is Handicap accessible, they have Wheelchair Rentals to make the park more accessible, their powerchairs are all-terrain rated. There are Bike trails, Hiking Trails, Fishing areas and so much more to offer visitors. They have Plenty of Parking including Handicap spaces. Leave us a Like (below) if you read the review.

This is a great park! We loved walking around the lake and playing on the swings. We saw a great blue heron and several other water birds that were too far away to identify. There are two different play sets for different aged kids. The bathroom was clean and well stocked. There were lots of picnic tables with grills and a few shade structures/ramadas.

We stopped in on our way to the Smoky Mountains. It was a nice little state park. There is a restaurant there. Seemed super busy so must have some good food. Small visitors center. Path around the lake is good. A few people fishing and catching fish. Spring is in the air with fish mating. Cute little lizard was sitting sunbaking on the observation deck. Plenty of parking. Picnic areas are great with plenty of trash bins and restrooms. Two big hikes in the park which I wish we had time to do. I would recommend checking it out. Well kept park!

This is a beautiful park! Just off the interstate so it’s very accessible and a great place to stretch your legs during a long drive! You have lake and mountains with plenty of great spots for photography as well! Paved walking path with woods and bridge for walking with or without your pets. Also has plenty of soft grassy areas for grounding or picnics. An open area perfect for flying a kite! Tennis and basketball courts available and a restaurant as well. Bathrooms are usually pretty clean. Covered areas for parties and cookouts. It’s a peaceful clean and lovely place all around! Def worth a visit or many visits!
