This place was all about the kids. If we go back, it will be for them. We stayed in a sunshine tent which was a good balance of roughing it and comfort. Especially when we had torrential rain during the night, I was glad to be off the ground with a solid floor. Though the ensuite bathroom is a detached shack behind the tent, where you have to go outside to shower or use the toilet. I saw this as a plus, as it gave the kids a more of a camper experience. Though calling it an "ensuite" is stretching things a bit? The sunshine tent location was central enough, close to camp kitchens, jumping pillows, the waterpark/pool and the activities hub. Basically the kids loved it. Would I personally choose to stay there, no. The location is neither in close (walking) proximity to the beautiful South West Rocks town or Arakoon Trial Bay front beach. There are other parks that are located near beaches or inlets on the NSW coast that I would prefer over this park, based on location/views alone. Though I can't fault the park on this, as they have their target market and they cater to it well. I'll probably go back there, as my kids loved it.

This is by far the best NRMA park we’ve been to. It’s not too big, lots for the kids to do and very safe for kids to ride their bikes and scooters around together. The pool is a great size, can get quite busy but it’s perfect for kids. The actual location is so nice, feels like you’re really secluded.

What an absolute gem this caravan park is. We drove up from Sydney for just three days and had the best time. We stayed in a cabin, which was immaculate, honestly more like a five-star hotel than a caravan park stay. The café food was excellent, the calamari was a standout, and we even treated ourselves to cocktails that were both delicious and great value. My only regret is not discovering this place years ago when our daughter was younger, it would have been perfect. This place is truly brilliant for little kids. The staff are very helpful and friendly too! The location is spot on, waking up to kangaroos in the garden was a real highlight. A fantastic stay all round and I couldn’t recommend it more highly.

Camped for a week there over Christmas on an unpowered site. It was right next to a creek however we didn't have any problems with mozzies. We did see goannas and friendly kangaroos pass through. The park overall is great for kids, the water park/pool area was perfect for my 4 and 6 year old to just go up and down the pirate ship and slides. Jumping pillow and park were equally good, all kept tidy and under cover too! I didn't like that the pedal buggys were an extra charge, should be included. The kids activity room was good for the youngest ones (under 5), and overall layout was good, although another family room on the other toilet block would be good. A camp kitchen just next to us was fantastic, sink, kettle and bbq were handy . This particular unpowered area looked like just an extra area they haven't actually done much work with so there was no grass, dirty sand instead, not ideal. But the biggest disappointment and reason I did 4 stars is because we had a day of rain and some decent downpours, well a large body of water started making its way straight into our campsite, to mitigate this we used some tools to dig a trench to divert water away, otherwise we would of had a very soggy campsite. Would I recommend? Yes, just confirm what unpowered spot your in, say no if its any of the following - 229,231,232,234.

It was our first time staying at the park in November and my family loved it. My 3 kids aged 3, 6 and 8 loved the splash park and didn’t want to leave it the whole time we stayed. We were so impressed with how clean and well maintained everything was, from the pools, the park amenities and especially the cabins. We stayed in a cottage which had the sweetest outdoor space, beautiful trees created shade, and a grassed area for the kids to play. We stayed two nights, but we’ll definitely return again and stay longer.
