A nice convenient place for an overnight stop for us. I texted to confirm availability which was handy. Water and electricity, we didn’t see a dump station or recycling. Flat as it seems we needed to use levelers. We went for a walk in the morning and saw some very nice yards and gardens.
Carrington has a very attractive, well-kept city park.... with a swimming pool, modern play equipment for children, tennis court, baseball field, and nice picnic areas. It also has an RV area with all the utilities necessary for campers. It's conveniently located within walking distance to restaurants, supermarket, gas stations, etc. One of the nicest city parks in North Dakota!
This nice little camp site has all you need. Located in a quiet town with friendly people, you're walking distance from good food. The sites have water and electricity for your RV plus a dump site located close. No showers that I could find but there are restrooms. Parks surrounding are well maintained and look great. $35 for a night was an absolute blessing.
Camped for the Youth Waterfall hunt. Nice setting for only $25/night!
Very nice community park. It has a playground that's big enough for the bigger kids, but it still has the stuff that the little tikes can enjoy. There is also a tennis court and a basketball court. The most awesome thing about this park is the pool, it is a large outdoor pool with 3 slides and goes to 10 feet if I'm not mistaken. It does have diving boards and also there was lifeguards on duty when we visited. I'm not sure if there is a fee,we went with some locals friends and we didn't pay one, I didn't think to ask until after the fact. There is also picnic tables and a few gazebos and grills and sheltered picnic tables scattered about. I also saw some RVS on on the lot so this place has everything. It's one of the nicer playgrounds definitely in this part of North Dakota.
