Good spacious sites, host let loud music go on at night way too long. Kids will be kids, but 6 or 8 of them running around screaming at play way after dark ruined it for everyone else. Good bike paths, great log shelter.

Beautiful sites on the water! The sites aren't super far from one another but they are deep. There's tons of space between the tent pads and pond for activities. Only $4 for tent campers with America the Beautiful Pass ($8 w/o the pass) and $8 for hookups ($16 w/o the pass). The bathrooms are older but the showers have hot water so I can't complain. Trash is down by loop 3 with the Rv sites. Close enough to the beach to make day trips, and about 30 min from Andalusia. Andalusia has everything you'll need and a great walking track too!

We loved this campground. Largest sites we've ever had. Nice Lakes, trails and very relaxing. Very pet friendly. Our cat was even comfortable here.

This place is incredible! The rangers are amazing as well as the "full time" campers. There is not a bad camping site in the place. It is first come, first serve but we had no issue getting a spot. There a numerous trails to hike once you find the entrance and they all feed into various other trails. Blue Spring is a hidden gem that's worth the 6 mile round trip of you can find it. Minimal to no cell service enhances the amazing experience of this place even more.

Loved camping here! There are so many large and beautiful sites nice and secluded, perfect for a weekend getaway. We couldn't believe how quiet and really out in nature the camp was, and only $16 a night! There's a 2 mile hiking trail within the camp, but plenty more hiking throughout the Conecuh Forest. The short drive to Blue Lake also has hiking and is perfect for swimming. While we didn't fish, fishing was pretty popular among other campers at Open Pond. The bath houses were perfectly fine - showers and toilets; not sure what people expect otherwise. We definitely plan on visiting many more times, as well as the Blackwater River nearby.
