Eumundi RV Stop Over

No water or electric, bbq broken, dump point only available 3-5pm. We were only caravan there but Saturday morning the site filled up with cars parking for the markets and everyone seemed to know the code for the toilets so a queue quickly formed. Someone tried to break into the camper van near us overnight so they packed up and left

Highway & train noise, bright lights I can bear but not the incessant base-heavy doof music coming from somewhere nearby ALL night. And it’s a Wednesday! How come police allow this disturbance? The markets are ok but the stuff on sale has been around for 30 years. Nothing new. I’d say give Eumundi a miss.

Nice overnight RV park. Bookings only, $35 per night with 2 day limit. Some powered sites but to water hookup. Dump point only available 3-5pm. Good for a short stay with plenty to do nearby.

This is a great find. Very friendly caretaker met us at 3pm at gate, walked us to our site and gave us the code for the clean amenities. Can have power or un powered. We were the only one for the first night and found it peaceful. Sure the train goes past but did not worry us as it was only a couple of times. Very handy for the Huge markets which makes it good for popping back to motorhome, have a break and back to markets. Would highly recommend.

A good flat site very close to town. It is imperitive you book online before you turn up or phone. The phones and site is only manned between 3 and 5 pm, so do not turn up out of those hours because you cannot get in at all. There is only a small toilet block with 1 male toilet and shower and 1 female the same, but they are clean and modern. No other washing facilities. There is a huge, well known market next to the campsite (which doubles up as the car park on market days) on Saturday mornings until 2pm, so book early if you want to go to it. It's very impressive and popular - the car park starts filling up at 6.30 am on Saturday mornings! The negative is the very muddy site when it's wet weather - not a pleasant walk to and from the showers and numerous people who arrive early on Saturday morning and walk near your van to get to the market or toilets, looking in while you're having breakfast or getting ready!
